Bio: Kevin was born in Michigan and grew up around his family’s restaurants. He is such a food guy and loves creating healthy every day meals and good snacks. He received his formal culinary training at Schoolcraft College and has always believed the philosophy that “if you love what you do, life is so much more fun”.
Kevin and his family always enjoyed good granola, but found that they contained a lot of things that were just not that great for you. So he created Pure Blend Granola with super foods and delicious taste combinations. The end product is truly pure for both our families and our customers because it really is just the good stuff.
Suzette M. Howton, Registered Dietician
Bio: Suzette completed her coordinated dietetic internship while earning her Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition-Dietetics at Eastern Michigan University. Since graduation, she has had several years’ experience as a hospital food service manager and clinical dietitian. Currently, she is working for the Substrate Metabolism Laboratory in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan assisting in research that focuses on the health effects of exercise and/or diet on the regulation of metabolism in obesity and obesity-related disease (like diabetes).
